The Informant trailer...

If the YouTube video goes down, go here for the official version.
Well, this looks like one of the most intentionally misleading trailers of all time. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe the film is as broadly comic as this trailer makes it appear, but this certainly doesn't look like a Steven Soderbergh film. Regardless, what is on display is pretty amusing. Matt Damon is obviously going for broke, and it's great to see Scott Bakula in a major supporting role, to say nothing of Tony Hale, Thomas F. Wilson, and Patton Oswalt. But the biggest coup is the casting of Frank Welker. As anyone who reads this blog enough knows, Frank Welker is one of the absolute gods of voice over (he's best known as the voice of Dr. Claw, Aladdin's Abu, and the cartoon version of Megatron). The man has 559 credits, and I'm pretty sure this is the first time he'll be doing live-action, non-voice over acting. Perhaps Soderbergh might just be able to save a few bucks in the sound effects budget in the bargain.

thats a Stephen Soderbergh movie?! Agreed, it doesn't look like it's his movie, but the trailer does look good anyway.
